Livingston lost one of its greatest characters over the weekend. Billie Lindgren died--or as her daughter wrote in her obituary, "changed camps"--on Saturday at 83. Here's a great thought from her obituary, which was published Wednesday in the Livingston Enterprise:
"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, 'Wow! What a ride!'"
